Third Jamie Carie Book set in Pre-Revolutionary War America

Rising romance novelist Jamie Carie has written her third book, Wind Dancer releases January 1, 2009) about a free spirited woman who falls in love with an American spy and is eventually captured by Indians in Pre-Revolutionary War America.

          Wind Dancer tells the story of Isabelle Renoir who is raised in a British-held frontier town. A free spirit, she dances in the moonlight as a praise offering to God and is more at home fearlessly taking her long rifle and knife into the woods for adventure. But this adventure has her crossing paths with Samuel Holt, an American spy trying to recruit soldiers for the fight against Britain, and ultimately taken prisoner by Indians and forced to assimilate to their ways.

Jamie Carie’s first novel Snow Angel won the USA Book News national award for Religious Fiction and Literature and is among the finalists for Romance Book of the Year for Foreword and tells the captivating story of Noah and Elizabeth, two deeply written characters who find each other in an Alaskan snowstorm during the gold rush of the late 1800s. There should be a warning with this book: Do not start unless you can finish…because you will NOT want to put this book down. The Duchess and the Dragon is set in the regency period and follows Drake Weston, the Duke of Northumberland, as he flees England under a cloud of suspicion. He lands in Philadelphia and now penniless is taken in by a kind Quaker family and is taken by the daughter Serena Winters. What follows is an elegant tale of discovering truth, finding peace and true love.
